As I suspected, there already is a film in the works about the last days and death of Anna-Nicole Smith.
What I didn't expect was that it would be released so soon.
The latest information on the movie, which has not yet been assigned even a working title can be found here.
Meanwhile, on the legal front, the battle over custody of Anna's infant daughter, Dannielynn, continues. Larry Birkhead, despite a split-up with his attorney, was said to be happy after the latest court action.
The case has its potential criminal connotations as well, with police seeking new evidence for their ongoing murder investigation.
While determination of the actual cause of Smith's death is, understandably, a complex matter with serious consequences, the matter of Dannielynn's paternity seems ridiculously easy to conclude.
I think most people would agree that these guys who claim to be the baby's father should all be ordered to provide a DNA sample, to be compared to Dannielynn's, and that's it.
Then the court can decide who has custody, most likely, and sensibly, the father, unless said father is determined to be a suspect in a murder investigation.
It would be nice if this kid, who will never know her mother, or brother, had a stable home with, hopefully, her father.
What do you think?
