By now everyone who follows the celebrity world knows that Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins, a boy Knox Leon, and a girl Vivienne Marcheline.
But most people don't know why Angelina, who uses her Middle name, Jolie, as her last name, named her daughter Vivienne Marcheline.
Marcheline is Angelina's late mother, Marcheline Bertrand's name.
As for Jolie and Pitt's son, Knox Leon, rumor has it that it is a combination of the middle name of Pitt's grandfather, Knox, and Jolie's great-great grandfather's name, Leon.
The birth, in Nice, France created quite a stir and the town's mayor made Jolie and Pitt honorary citizens.
