The Academy Awards will be presented in their usual form now that the writer's strike has ended.
That comes as a great relief to the many fans of the extravaganza, including my wife, who watches it to see who's wearing what.
That means I have to either leave the room for the duration, or sit there quietly, while she watches.
I don't understand why I have to shut up if all she wants to do is look at the clothes.
The The Academy Awards show airs on "ABC" next Sunday, February 24, at 8pm ET.
